Michigan State stunned by Central Michigan, 29-27
The Michigan State Spartans were stunned by rival Central Michigan, 29-27, in an embarassing loss.
Michigan State held a 17-13 halftime lead and then took a 20-10 lead into the decisive fourth quarter.
It wasn’t enough, however, as Central Michigan outscored the Spartans, 16-7 in the final quarter.
The Spartans had no answer for quarterback Dan LeFevour, who threw for 323 yards and three touchdowns.
The NFL prospect was a major concern entering the game and seems to give the Chippewas a chance no matter who they play.
